The presence of mineral scale in the evaporators increase process times, as well as the amount of energy (steam) to achieve an efficient and continuous operation. Additionally, stopping the process to descale the equipment is costly, both in production and in chemical products and labor.

These treatments significantly reduce the effects of scale on the surfaces, extending the production times between cleanings, in addition to modifying the structure of the deposits, facilitating their removal. Furthermore, EUROCHEM – ZUCRA has integrated a series of inhibitors, additives and detergents to clean evaporators and syrup pipes, as well as special cleaning programs for the steam side of the equipment.
